Here are some helpful tips to help spot fraudulent emails and texts.

  • The message comes from a 10-digit phone number with an area code rather than the 5-digit number that our legitimate online banking messages come from.
  • The message directs you to click on a link. Our online banking messages will never include a link. You should only log in to your online banking via the mobile app or portal on the somersettrust.com website.
  • The URL for the linked page is not the URL for our legitimate online banking (www.somersettrust.com).
  • The message contains spelling and/or punctuation errors.
