Scammers are using a technique called "Caller ID Spoofing" to display a misleading or inaccurate phone number in a recipient's Caller ID.

A published phone number for Somerset Trust Company has recently been spoofed. The scammer posed as a Somerset Trust employee and requested personal information (such as Social Security number, account number and/or date of birth).

Somerset Trust never calls our customers to ask for their personal information over the phone. If you receive a call like that, we urge you to hang up immediately.
