Overdraft Protection Savings Account

  • No minimum deposit required to open account at a branch.
  • $25 minimum deposit required to open account online.
  • You must maintain a minimum balance of $100 in the account each day to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield.
  • Your interest rate and annual percentage yield may change. At our discretion, we may change the interest rates for your account at any time. The current interest rates and annual percentage yields can be found in the Account Rate Sheet.
  • Interest begins to accrue on the business day you deposit noncash items (for example, checks).
  • Interest will be compounded monthly and credited to your account monthly on the statement date. If you close your account before interest is credited, you will receive the accrued interest up to the date you close the account.
  • We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the ledger principal balance in the account at the end of business each day.
  • Any individual may maintain an Overdraft Protection Savings Account. Other entities organized or operated to make a profit such as corporations, partnerships, associations, business trusts, or other organizations may not maintain an Overdraft Protection Savings Account.
  • Link your Overdraft Protection Savings to any of these personal checking accounts: Convenient Checking Account, Horizon 50 Checking Account, Interest Checking Account, Personal Plus Interest Checking Account, Student Advantage Checking Account.
  • Monthly minimum balance fee and other fees may be charged to your account. A complete listing of fees may be found in the Account Fee Schedule.
