Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day you deposit any cash or noncash items (for example, checks).
Interest will be compounded on a monthly basis and credited to your account monthly on the statement date. If you close your account before interest is credited, you will receive the accrued interest up to the date you close the account.
We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the ledger principal balance in the account at the end of business each day.
