Somerset Trust Company Celebrates Branch Opening
Somerset Trust Company celebrated the grand opening of its newest bank location in Scottdale, Pennsylvania, today. This is Somerset Trust’s 40th branch and 10th location in Westmoreland County.
Mary Jo Hixson will be the Branch Manager and brings with her nearly 20 years of banking experience and a true commitment to serving her community. As a long-time member of the Scottdale Area Chamber of Commerce, she is keenly aware of the opportunities the business and organizations in the area have and hopes to provide services to support those endeavors. Hixson will be joined by a team including several individuals who have been with Somerset Trust Company for years, working at branches in Mt. Pleasant and Connellsville.

The full-service branch is conveniently located at 157 Pittsburgh Street, and offers a coin-counting machine free of charge to customers, a night deposit, and an instant issue debit card machine which prints cards on the spot for new accounts or to replace lost or damaged cards. The Scottdale branch also represents the first Somerset Trust location to feature an interactive teller machine known as an STC Portal. The machine provides both traditional ATM functionality, and also the option to speak through video chat with a local representative.
